Itineraries
Day 1
COCHIN – MUNNAR
Upon arrival at Cochin Airport , Meet and Greet by GREEN LAGOONS Representative and drive to Munnar enroute visiting Cheeyaparra Falls. Arrive Munnar and check in at the hotel.
Munnar is the nature-lover’s paradise. Snuggling in the green and serene Kannan Devan Hills lies the quiet and restful resort of Munnar. Panoramic views of low-flying clouds and mist filled valleys make it a pretty little heaven with a cool bracing climate. It was opened up out of virgin forests a century ago by pioneering planters.
Within its remote and elderly churches - gracious, stone-structures with ancient chandeliers and rosewood pews. A little beyond lies Anaimudi, South India's highest peak. In the vicinity is the Eravikulam National Park, the home of the endangered Nilgiri Thar that roams on a stretch of grassland or is seen climbing the pinnacles of the undulating hills. Here you can have a glimpse of a Gaur, Langur, Lion-tailed macaque, and Elephants roaming in herds. Rest of the day will be at leisure. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 2
MUNNAR
Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Later proceed for a morning sightseeing trip of Munnar; visiting the Eravikulam National Park where you can see the very rare mountain goats locally called the Nilgiri Thar, visit Mattupetty Dam which offers many fascinating sights to relish. The Shola forests around Mattupetty are ideal for trekking and bird watching, with the variety of birds found there. Kundala is a picturesque town located at the confluence of three mountain streams namely Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. Enroute visit Echo Point, View Point & green carpet of Tea Gardens. Late afternoon, you will go for a stroll in Tea Estates. Meet the local people engaged in tea Industry.Evening will be at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3
ALLEPPEY
After the breakfast drive to Alleppy (b 195 KM / 05 Hour ) , On Arrival check in hotel
Alleppey (Alappuzha) district occupies a prominent place in the tourist map of Kerala interlocked with lakes and canals. The Vembanad Lake stretching up to Kochi, the rivers Achankovil, Manimala and Pamba and a net work of canals in the district are used for inland navigation. The vast stretch of paddy fields of Kuttanad, which is popularly known as the ‘rice bowl of Kerala,’ is in this district. Coir and coir products form a thriving industry in this district. The exciting and unforgettable boat cruises between Alleppey and Kollam offer intimate glimpses of backwater life and an unforgettable journey watching Coir making, boat building, toddy tapping, fish farming and the rugged village life. Overnight enjoy the flower bed & Candle Light Dinner in House Boat .
Day 4
ALLEPPEY – COCHIN
Morning after breakfast check out from the House boat & transfer to Cochin (75Km 02Hrs). On arrival check in to the hotel .
Half-day sightseeing tour of Cochin. You will first proceed to Mattancherry, where you will visit the oldest Jewish Synagogue in India (Closed on Friday and Saturday) built by a thriving Jewish community in 1568 A.D. Now the community has dwindled in numbers, however the synagogue is beautifully preserved.. The Dutch Palace (Closed on Friday) at Mattancherry was built in 1555 and its coronation hall and murals at Ramayana are noteworthy features. From Jewish Synagogue you will visit Chinese fishing nets. The cantilevered fishing nets line the entrance to the harbour mouth..
Continue your tour to the St. Francis Church (Closed on Sunday during Mass), originally named after Santo Antonio and dedicated to him as the Patron Saint of Portugal. Five Portuguese priests who arrived with Albuquerque built St. Francis church in 1510. This church, said to be the oldest European church built in India, was the original burial site of Vasco da Gama in 1524.

Day 5
COCHIN – LAKSHWADEEP – THINNAKARA
Morning after breakfast Check out from the hotel & proceed to Cochin Airport to board the flight to Lakshadweep. Arrive at Agatti Airport & by Maruti Omni you will be transfer to Boat Jetty. Transfer to Thinnakara Island by a High speed Craft. Check in to the hotel & after lunch proceed for a sightseeing of Thinnakara. Thinnakara is a tiny teardrop shaped island which lies 8 km northeast from Agatti. The panorama encompasses magnificent lagoons, sylvan sea shores, sun drenched sand and the enchantment of swaying palms, spectacular marine flora and fauna. Optional Watersports crafts like kayaks, glass bottomed boats are available here. You can play beach volleyball and there are vast beach for sunbath. Overnight stay at Thinnakara NON A/C Tent.
Day 6
THINNAKARA – BANGARAM – THINNAKARA
After breakfast go for a day trip to Bangaram Island. Bangaram island is situated just opposite side of island and share the vast lagoon and coralline banks. The island is surrounded by a shallow lagoon enclosed by coral reef. It has been ranked among the best getaways of the world. Lunch at Bangaram Island .A matchless sense of well-being takes over and one begins to discover the graceful fishers, porcupines, parrots, Pufferfishes, Hermit Crabs and Seabirds on the vast 120 acres of lush coconut groves in Bangaram. For option there are numerous adventures like scuba diving, beach games, swimming, snorkelling and deep-sea fishing. Evening transfer to Thinnakara by Boat. After Dinner overnight at NON A/C Tent .
Day 7
DEPARTURE
After breakfast check out from the tent & you will be transfer to Agatti Mail land by High Seep Craft. From Agatti Island Boat Jetty by a Maruti Omni you will be transfer to Agatti Airport to board your departure flight.
